Meara Selene is a sports photographer based in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a focus on capturing the emotion, energy, and rhythm of the game.
Originally from Colorado Springs, she felt an instant connection to Tennessee during a drive through the Smoky Mountains — a shift that sparked her search for moments that move you, both in life and through the lens.

That search now guides her work in sports photography. Whether it’s a fast-paced breakaway, a quiet moment of focus before the puck drops, or the atmosphere in the stands, Meara approaches sports photography as both storytelling and art. Her images are about more than just action — they’re about feeling.

She currently photographs for a Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) team, the Knoxville Ice Bears.
